He makes it a point to keep income replacement at the forefront of every financial planning conversation because he believes that DI is the undergird of sound financial plan.

Brand and Operations Manager for The DI Center, a BGA in Allen, TX that makes DI and life insurance easier for producers nationwide. His title is a fun way to say that he oversees the brokerage marketing and underwriting processes with a knack for the income protection competitive landscape.

Derek has been focused on individual DI at The DI Center since he graduated from Texas Tech University in 2010. He’s a member of NAIFA-Dallas and enjoys traveling with his wife Emily and their twin toddler boys, Owen and Tristan.

Daniel has a unique perspective as he has spent roughly half of his career working on the carrier side in a broker support and marketing role; the other half as an independent broker working directly with employers.
